Default A/C Maintanence

After setting up this past weekend I tried to kick on the A/C but only got a buzzing sound and no fan. Figuring that something or someone had made a home in my a/c unit my brother (an a/c tech by trade) crawled up on the roof to take a closer look. We found that the fan motor shaft had some minor rust and corrosion on it. I little fine sand paper and some oil and we were back in business. We never could find an oil port on the motor and just applied the oil directly to the shaft.
