electric and/or gas water heater, how to know
Hopefully this is the dumbest question I will have to ask here..
How can you tell if your water heater is an LP and electric model? The interior control panel (with rocker switches for the tank & battery check, pump switch, and water heater) has only one position (besides "off). It triggers the propane thermocoupler. However, the rear panel (accessed from the outside) has some reference to an electrical heating element. Is this a generic label?
The woman we purchased the TT from really had no idea about much of the trailer, how it works, or its features. It's a lot of fun finding things out. This trailer has many features she never knew about. There is a wall switch, much like a residential light switch that reads "on" and "off." The prior owner had no idea what that switch is for. Neither do I. Does it control the electrical element for the water heater or is it something else? Any ideas??
