Question Roto Chocks

OK...what's the real benefit with Roto Chocks

Is it just to give a firmer lock to the wheels, or do they prevent the trailer from shaking when you walk around?

I've always been happy with the "yellow plastic chocks," but would love to cut down on the wiggle that is always there when you walk around; despite the fact that the stabilizers are down...
