Default Genny question........

I am new to all this so........ We have an Onan Generator. Last week when we picked up the unit we fired up the genny at the dealers, no problem....Well today I went to the storage place to work on the MH and figured I would fire up the generator. Started up good, ran for about 2-3 minutes then started acting like it was running our of fuel, the gas tank is full. Started it again, ran for 30 seconds then stopped, every start after that was like it was trying to start but wasn't getting gas? Hit the primer on the gen., started it again then it acted like it was flooded....Now, the unit is parked on a slight angle, backed in. Question is: is the genny pump fed or gravity fed? I am wondering if the angle the unit is parked on is effecting it starting?
I welcome all advice.

Thanks,

Jim
