over the last few months I've made several post reporting positive experience using our Hensley TruControl brake controller .... while its performance has been exceptional, the only negative thing I have ever had to say about the unit was its design where the power cord comes out the bottom of the unit:



in both of the trucks that I have installed a TruControl having the wire come out the bottom of the unit has complicated getting sufficient clearance to keep my knee from hitting it while driving .... the picture in the above is from the Hensley web page and shows that cord ..... they apparently haven't updated their site because we just got in an order of TruControl units at the dealership and much to my delight the cord no longer comes out the bottom .... rather, on these new units it now comes out the lower center section of the back of the unit .... that is a very nice improvement and one they should advertise .... wonder how long it will take them to update their web page
