We have been having an issue with our Furnace.
In the cool evenings here in AZ we had the furnace set at 68 degrees. To supplement this we used our electric heater. On retiring for the evening we turned off the electric heater and tried to warm the bedroom with the furnace. After turning up the set point on the furnace the blower would come on but the furnace burner would not ignite. Just cold air was coming from the vents in the floor. I tried a number of things to get the furnace started again. Turned up the thermostat. Turned off the electric heater. Verified we were not out of propane. Tried switching tanks at the regulator. Then, for whatever reason it would ignite and be fine for the rest of the night.... Looks to me like it could be the furnace igniter, Thermostat, or the regulator between the tanks. This has happened two or three times. I have a hard time seeing any connection between the electric heater and the furnace issue. Any suggestions? Chuck
