Hello:
I was discussing the potential loss of archived info from SunnybrookTalk with my daughter, who has much more computer and Internet savvy than I. She responded with the following: Dad, here is a way to find archived information on sunnybrooktalk.com you need to do two steps. First Go to : http://web.archive.org/web/200707121...bers/index.php Navigate to the sub forum you are interested in. Note the EXACT spelling of the thread titles that you want to see. (Most times, if you click the thread from here you will not see the information, instead an error, hence the need for the second step.) Second Go to : www.google.com Enter the exact thread title and hit search You may need to narrow down the results by adding "quotes" and / or the word Sunnybrook For example Click Here http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...YBROOK&spell=1 Now DON'T click on the main title in the google search result, you will get no information. Instead click below the description on the word CACHED. You will then see an archive of the thread. This worked for me to locate a discussion I wanted to keep. |
