Default Hitch information

I had to join this 'forum' just to make a comment.

I'm new to trailering, had a white box for 14 years, and now I am seeking an 03 Airstream Classic and decided to get myself informed on all types of Airstreams, their floorplans, their specifications, and so on. After filling my head full of that knowledge, which led me to now know what it is I'm seeking.. a rear lounge, twin bed, one slide, and all the goodies on a used 2003, for the best price possible.

Then I turned to hitches, to educate myself on what was good, bad, and indifferent for when I made a bid on the above trailer. I happened upon a discussion of Hensley's Arrow and then read everything I could read on the hitch in the forums that discussed it. Then I heard that there were two Henley Hitches, one a break-off from the original. Which led me to this site, to the Hitches discussion. Was one better than the other? Were they both of equal value? Hey! I can learn something here.

Well, let me tell you, that is the most mixed up, un-informative piece of claptrap I've ever come upon. Instead of educating me on this 'new' hitch, I wasted my time reading all these supposedly 'tongue in cheek' innuendoes. If there is a Moderator on this site, why don't you tell these 'tongue in cheek' people who nip at each other to set down some factual information that people like me who are trying to educate myself can read and leave this site feeling good. Now I leave feeling annoyed, that I've wasted my time reading a lot of clap-trap, instead of real information. If you want to read a class Forum, go to the LazyDaze motor home forum and read it for a while.
I don't drive a LD, but as a member of that Forum I've learned so much wonderful information and have come away with great ideas to put into the next unit I buy. When I read LD, I have my Apple computer's NOTE handy and jot down all the great ideas. You all could learn something from that.

I hope you don't mind my speaking my mind, but Forums are supposed to be educational on whatever the subject matter is. Forums are supposed to HELP people understand the reason for the Forum. Enough said.
