Default Lake Huron Campground

The inaugural trip of our new fiver was this past Memorial Day weekend at the Lake Huron Campground. First trip in the new fiver...first time at this camp ground.

If your looking to camp among the trees then this isn't your place. However, if your looking for large, level and grassy sites then this is the place. This is the second year of operation and these folks are working hard to make it a success. Wonderful place for a weekend. Lots to do for the kids. Has the best camp store I have ever seen. Everything is new and clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Camp layout is well thought out and easy to navigate even with the largest rigs. All 395 sites were full. yet the staff handled the crowds very well.

We are going back again in a couple of weeks. It's not too far from our house (82 miles) which makes it a one tank trip both ways.
