Plumbing To PEX, or not to PEX, that is the question.

Default FloJet Mod

as part of our FloJet system we bought an 1 1/4" diameter hose ...

Picture 1 ... this hose came with a valve/elbow that has a screw in 3" fitting ... to use it in most CG's where 4" pipes seem to have become pretty standard, you have to use one of the rubber donuts

Picture 2 ... shows the elbow/valve that I made which will screw into 4" pipe so no rubber donut is required .... note it is fitted with a quick disconnect to connect it to the blue hose

Picture 3 ... shows the components used to make the elbow/valve .... with the exception of the 4" screw-in cap, all parts are 1" PVC pipe .... I drilled the hole in the 4" cap with a 1 3/8' wood bit

am looking forward to giving it a try

Jim
