I apologize in advance for not having pictures. Packing the camera was not my job but somehow it must still be my fault.

Nashville is the county seat of Brown County Indiana. It's a quaint little town that caters to tourists since there is no other apparent industry. The town is full of shops, shops, and more shops. The shops sell locally made items such as pottery, leather goods, clothing, food and candy, glassware, beer, jewelry, and wood crafted items. There has to be about a hundred little shops. In the surrounding area there are additional tourist stops such as flea markets, antique stores, and farm markets. {edit: the shops close early like about 5-6 pm. One store we were in turned the lights off at 4:59 and told us to get out.}

Outside of Nashville, the terrain is rolling to steep (being from the hills, I wouldn't call these mountains, but I heard other folks doing so; they are just hills). If you are into sight seeing there are plenty of hills and hollers to explore, including the Brown County State Park (it costs $7.00 for non residents to enter....we decided not to pay to play).

There are several campgrounds to choose from: Bill Monroe's (yes, that Bill Monroe), Brown County State Park, Westward Ho (I heard nothing but bad things about that place), Red Barn (very small), and The Last Resort RV Park. We stayed at the Last Resort and chose it due to its loction and the fact that it had a website with pictures. It was once a KOA. The owners were friendly and helpful. The sites were gravel but level. Overall, it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it. The only thing negative I could say about it is that there is limited parking space. If the campground was full, my truck wouldn't have fit into our spot. I parked it on the adjacent site. There are pull though sites and those have plenty of room for a Class A and a toad so I would have been better off there.

Even though we had some issues...(I might start another thread as soon as I can laugh at myself), it was a good place to visit. I don't need to go back, but it was good to go once. I'd recommend this place for senior citizens but for young folk who stay up late, there is NOTHING to do. We ended up driving 18 miles to Columbus just to find a restaurant open past 8:00.
