Several years ago someone on the old SB site gave me the name of the best tour service and guide to have when touring Monument Valley. It made all the difference. I'm hoping my luck continues. We plan to visit Canyon de Chelly this summer. Can anyone recommend a private guide company or actual guide?

No, I'm not related to Richard but I would recommend him to anyone. He took us to places off the beaten path, helped us understand his culture and finished the 4 hr. tour in a natural amphitheater singing a song in Navajo and then playing a native flute. The hairs were standing up on my neck.
