I couldn't see myself spending $500 on a cat-back exhaust system, so about 2 years ago I bought a Walker Big Truck Muffler hoping to just replace the OEM muffler on my Excursion, but never got around to installing it. Then somewhere along the way I bought a 7.3 test pipe hoping I could replace the 6.0 cat, but I never installed that either. Well, today was installation day, and I now have a cheap ars $150 free-flowing exhaust. Granted, its not as good as an aftermarket 4 inch exhaust system, but it was cheap and it still works better than stock for EGT's.
