Default What do they call it - where can I get one?

I've seen different "mud-flap" type things on the rear bumpers of SUVs, trucks and motor homes, some made of heavy rubber, some made of brush-like material. Apparently these devices help reduce the gravel and stone that's kicked back against whatever is being towed. I'm guessing they also help keep the rear window of SUVs or truck caps from getting so dirty.

So - what are they called? I've tried doing a search on mud flaps, and that got me nowhere. Do they work - are they worth having?

Thanks, George in K.C.
