  • Dish Reaches Deal To Carry NFL Network & NFL RedZone

The NFL regular season is about a month away, and Dish subscribers who are fans can exhale now. The No. 2 satcaster has reached a deal with the league to carry its NFL Network and NFL RedZone, more than six weeks after they went dark in a carriage dispute. Dish said in a brief statement tonight that it “has reached a multi-year agreement with NFL Network for carriage of NFL Network and RedZone. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.”

So I learned today that there is a deal with the NFL that Apple TV can stream NFL games. As I understand it, it's $100/year (better than DirecTv's NFL Sunday Ticket's $269 price tag), but there are some things to be aware of:

        1) They only stream the games after the games are done being aired, so no LIVE football. On Sunday, they only air the games after the 4pm (EST) games complete.

        2) No Superbowl, but that's OK because that's on a regular network

        3) NO COMMERCIALS. The games are streamlined, which is a huge plus in my book. Not sure what I'll do, but this is tempting.

                  Cost of Channel line up

They changed the channel line up and the cost per package on the home dish, I checked the offerings for the Tailgator and they are the same as what I had in Florida last winter and different from the home offering. The lowered the package prices and now it appears they are offering more package add ons.

We get the same programming on our Tailgater that we get at home.

                      Dish

This was what I was referring to, I thought it was new, but maybe the same old formatted. I saw it online, but it could be for new customers only? Who knows every time you turn around there is a new offer. At least you have the availability of additional pick and choose.
