I can't believe Kirby Smart did something as crazy as a fake punt on 4th and 11 against a team as Alabama. I live in Ga., and didn't have a dog (No pun intented) in this fight but I was glad to see Alabama win.

I'm guessing the Championship game will be Alabama & Clemson.

No. 1 Alabama faces No. 4 Oklahoma in the Capital One Orange Bowl.

No. 2 Clemson meets No. 3 Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl Classic.

Why didn't Ohio State promote Schiano to head coach? As we heard last year during the Tenn. fiasco, Ohio State said he was the greatest coach out there and couldn't understand how we didn't want him. They had press conferences to tell how great he was. Went on about his experience and just how great he was.

And Urban will be back. Have a year off to let things settle down and he will be healed and able to coach again.

That's why he left Fl., health issues. Also Ohio State, both after 5 years. I'm guessing he'll go for the Green Bay Packers head coaching job.

Ryan Day is a far better fit for the players and for the recruiting efforts. No way you the keys over to Schiano after the struggles his unit has had this year.

In regards to Urban... expectation is for him to stay at the university in some capacity. He is not the same man that left Florida...

Yeah... I read that one. That writer is about as unbiased as Jim Harbaugh. One only need look into some of the details he cited to understand how he is twisting them to his narrative.

Meyer is no saint. Anyone who thinks any D1 coach is --- is kidding themselves. However, much of this article is wrong. Nick Bosa didn't come back because of locker-room issues? No. Nick Bosa didn't come back because at best he would have been available for the championship game and later games. That's best case - and even then - - - cleared to play but not 100%. If you're slated to be the first pick in the draft... you take no chances. You bail on the season and work to the draft. Heck there's even healthy players that sit out bowl games now to prep for the draft.

Again, Meyer has made mistakes. But to say he left the program in shambles is lunacy. The program has a higher GPA and higher graduation date than anytime in history - not to mention on the field results. They have also increased player job placement post-graduation... nearing 95% last season.

Football season was officially over on December 1st (a day that will live in infamy). Texas sure ain't gonna put up with losing much longer so a head coach job may be opening even though things looked up slightly this year.
