Happiness Is ===> is the opening of the 2019 NCAA Football season .... weekends filled with college football as NASCAR's Chase for the title shifts into high gear .... from watching West Virginia whip the Vols it looks like it may be another tough time on Old Rocky Top .... Clemson breezed by Furman, it was much the same as Ohio State romped by Oregon State .... biggest surprise for me has been Maryland getting by Texas

I was hopeful for a better debut from the Vol's yesterday. They just need to get the defence working. But with Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama and South Carolina all in a row, it may be like Custer's last stand. Time will tell.

I really enjoyed the Notre Dame game--love the Irish. But bad weather around the country postponed some games yesterday.
On another note, our grand-daughters are cheerleaders for the rec league in Fuquay-Varina. We had a fun time watching some little fellows play while those little girls cheered. Our littlest one was the only one who successfully did the splits! Her older sister settled for a cartwheel. I think i see more Saturdays enjoying this aspect of the game.

No doubt the toughest division in college football.

Every year the Horns seem to recuit a huge bunch of blue chippers and never seem to get much out of it. They were beat by Md last year as well.... arghghghhg

                      No doubt Herman can recruit...
Loved him since his Ohio State days and expected him to be awesome as a head coach. Had thing clicking in Houston... not sure what has gone off the rails at Texas.

No reason you should lose to MD... TWICE.

the Longhorns got off to a rough start in their game with the USC Trojans ... they were down 14-3 at the start of the 2nd Quarter .... after the 'Horns got a major break on a safety call, they rolled in the second half

Hurricane Florence pretty well wiped out our local games scheduled for today ....Duke was out of state at Baylor and came through with a 40 - 27 win
