we enjoy several of his movies .... we are watching Ride A Crooked Trail as this is being typed .... thanks for the info on the museum .... the closest we will be to Greenville on this this trip will be about 130 miles .... have made a note about it and will see what we can work out next year

Watching an Audie Murphy, Dan Duryea, Jimmy Stewart Western. Jimmy even sings in this one. By the way, he really did play the accordion; I know of only two movies in which he did so. This one and the one about his son's crush on Brigette Bardot.

light overnight rain left a few puddles and plenty of fog around our campsite .... 66 on its way to 75 with more passing showers .... thunderstorms supposed to be around tomorrow .... smoked glazed ham, scrambled eggs with cheese, sliced tomatoes with Folgers on the menu .... watching Robert Mitchum and Susan Hayward in the 1953 movie White Witch Doctor

with our truck in the shop, we are using a Yota Corolla from Enterprise .... my first time driving one of these cars .... with it getting a bit better mileage than our truck, we plan to do some running around .... 55 on its way to 76 with very little chance of rain .... egg, cheese and ham omelet with bacon and sliced tomato on the side .... Folgers flowing freely

57 under a partly cloudy sky on Lake Conroe .... it appears that a cooling trend is at hand .... they are calling for a high today of 65, yesterday it got up to 74 .... supposed to fall to 36 tonight .... scrambled eggs with cheese and glazed ham again this morning .... sausage from home on the side with Folgers flowing freely .... we do plan to get out and about a bit today

we awoke to a call from a very excited 4 year old grandson .... he had to tell us all about a light snow that they had back home last night .... he's seen snow before but was to young to remember it .... this morning we were greeted by a coooool 39 degrees on its way to 60 later today .... regular breakfast has come and gone .... watching Alan Lad and Virginia Mayo in the 1952 movie, The Iron Mistress

from what we've been told, the snow at our place is gone .... no more being called for any time soon

39 on Lake Conroe under a clear but somewhat hazy sky .... 63 later today with a 0% chance of rain .... received notice our truck is ready to roll so getting it back to the campground will at the top of today's agenda .... we also hope to mix up a batch of meat to make Jerky tomorrow ....

18 here in central Minnesoooota with drizzle. Supposed to hit high twenties today.
Expecting snow for the weekend, but not much.
I could ice skate from out front door the half mile to our mail box.
Folgers with mixed berries, a boiled egg and two cookies for breakfast.

20s here with sleet. Supposed to sleet till afternoon and then change to snow. They say a couple inches.
Hopefully that will blanket the ice. Snow is much easier to drive on than ice.
With February coming up we can now kiss the sub zero temps goodbye, usually anyway, and look foreword to warmer temps
with more wet snow.

65 on its way to 69 later today .... heavy overcast, misting rain, showers supposed to move in this afternoon .... with the forecast calling for it to be sunny tomorrow, we plan to pack up in preparation for moving to our next campground on Monday .... regular breakfast of eggs, sausage, sliced tomato with Folgers still flowing .... quick grocery run on tap .... afterwards, we plan to settle in, put on a dehydrator full of Jerky, make Cowboy Caviar and take it easy .... watching 100 Rifles with Jim Brown, Raquel Welch and Burt Reynolds
