Longest Night

the night of Monday, December 21, 2020 is the longest one of the year .... the good news is, time wise, from now until June 20, 2021 the days will get longer and nights will get shorter ...

Thank goodness for the "good news", one reason I always hated winter as a child, (besides the snow & cold), still do, the seemingly endless darkness, totally depressing, got up to do chores and go to school in the dark, came home to more chores in the dark, ate dinner, went to bed in the dark only to start over the next morning, in the dark.
