  • Don't drop a can drink on the rv floor

Packing a few quick things this morning in the fridge. Had a great thought, put a few diet ginger ales in the fridge.

Grabbed 4 and dropped one in front of the open fridge. Well one hour later, I got the mess cleaned off the floor, ceiling and everything in between.

I'm smiling at your post.:stir: It is funny when it happens to someone else and not yourself. I can picture the slow motion drop/your look, and the ensuing spray. Most of us have had it happen and had to clean up the aftermath. I know I have.

        Q.

:bravo: .... a long time friend of ours has an Eagle rear kitchen 5er .... a few years age they were towing around Asheville through a road construction area where they hit some very rough sections .... when they got to their next CG and were setup, his wife opened the frig door and lets just say :help: .... a shelf had broken, a gallon of milk and a host of other things hit the floor .... cleanup took a while

One time when we went through Atlanta ran into the same construction situation. We were lucky only the cab doors came open and nothing busted but could have been bad if the canisters had come open. We have something like a plastic gal jar with screw lids for canisters so are pretty tough.

I have opened a 2ltr hot drink that had gotten shaken up before. That can be exciting also.

Only took one time of cans flying out of the fridge upon opening it... started using THESE to keep things in place.

            Haven't had a problem since...

Looks very much like the spring loaded curtain rod holders I used to keep the styrofoam in the top vents with.

They just don't make cans like they use too. We use to use them as baseballs. Legit.

If I put drinks in they go in the drawers. If it bust in there easier clean up. Not perfect. But much easier.

Anything that has a liquid in it... whether in a cabinet... or in a closet/storage area... is inside of a plastic tub. I've got a medium sized heavy duty plastic tub that I keep in the 2nd bathroom (which is our pantry). I can fit a couple cases of beverages in there.

Works to be a good over flow for what doesn't go in the fridge.

Isn't that uncomfortable when you sit down?
