    be advised that in subfreezing temps hanging the two drinking water hoses over the camper's pin box overnight to drain will most certainly drain the water but female quick disconnect will retain sufficient moisture to freeze :doh: and make it unusable the next morning ... :sack:

        When in Virginia for Thanksgiving, the campground had policy to unhook everyone's water lines when the temp was to go below 36 degrees. When they did that, it was simple to coil up the hose and place it inside the camper in the shower.

        Never had it freeze, and since we were going to wait until we had a water connection to use the shower, it was not in the way.

          actually, holding the frozen end up to the furnace exhaust vent made quick work of defrosting both couplers
