I'm most happy (I do mean really, really, really happy) that I'm not capable of even remotely visualizing that picture ...

I giggle every time I drop this kind of comment, walk away, and you guys just dig yourself into a pit of amusement.

It's been super busy trying to get the campsite ready. It was ruffly under 3-5 inches of sandy mud. Lots of scraping, shoveling, spreading grass seed and straw to keep it in place. This last weekend David had to raise the electric box to above the flood level.. That was the only way the electric company would install a new meter. The other meter was full of mud/sand mix.. We expect the lines to be connected tomorrow. Storms delayed that today.

We also had a concrete guy give us an estimate on the cost to put a concrete pad in. I've talked about it for a while and after all this effort I'm ready to put the money down. While It's not our site for life, we can rent it for as long as we want. Even if we use it as a long term storage spot for weekend visits vs every weekend as the years move forward I still see the concrete slap a better investment then years and years of gravel, clean up, more gravel....

But that takes a bite out of the summer funds. So it's most def a stay close to home kinda year. And I didn't plan any outings at this point anyways.

For that kind of cash, I just might try it.
