  • Fueling Recommendations

The purpose of this thread is to provide folks with information on good places to buy fuel when traveling through areas we aren’t familiar with. If you know of any good or bad locations please post your comments. The types of info that might be helpful is exact location, big rig friendly ? , pumps available on both sides of vehicle ? , high speed pumps ? , open 24 hours ? , other services available ?

Traveling east on hwy 401 from Detroit and east on hwy 402 from Pt Huron Mi. you will have a Fly J at London On. and a 5th Wheel and a Husky just off the #401. 5th Wheel is usually the lowest gas price and the Husky and the Flying J are pretty close with diesel prices. I believe diesel was about .88 cents a litre and gas was about .99 cents a litre today. They are all 24 hour stations. The 5th Wheel is a pay before you pump and their diesel is not a bargain.
