agree, the major cost will be for the labor .... not complaining at all, I'm relieved to have the repairs in the hands of someone who knows what he's doing

happy to say that we've completed most of our outside site setup .... only thing remaining is our outside cooking area .... that will take place shortly before I'm told that I'm to prepare our next meal outside .. .. in thinking about it, with the chances of rain going up over each of the next few days, that may be a while .... Chesapeake is one of the few campgrounds where I like to fill our propane tanks .... here they charge by the gallon, in many they charge by the tank capacity regardless of how much, if any propane the tank may have in it

Talking about propane were you aware that Tractor Supply fills propane tanks and charges by the gallon. The one closest to us charges $2.39 per which is cheap. Not all TS fill tanks though. Be wise and call ahead.

its been a cloudy, calm, cool, misty at times day .... we did get out and ride over to Gloucester where we stopped by Lowe's and Walmart .... at Lowe's I purchased a Kobalt 45-oz Smooth Face Plastic Head Plastic Dead Blow Hammer needed to make a few delicate adjustments .... at Walmart we shopped for groceries and large stock of candy to pass out to Trick-or-Treaters on the 18th .... traditional Halloween activities have become so popular at this campground that they have to hold it on two different weekends .... the amount and complexity of site decorations is really something to be seen; as is the decorated golf cart parade and pet costume contest ....

I checked a local TS and they had it. $2.29/gal. I had one that wasn't full and topped it off. Right, 5.5g in a 30lb tank. It was napping on empty. Headed for Beavers Bend in the AM and forecast low Fri is 38. Good load of wood in bed so we're good to go.

From what I have read there are too many trees for satellite tv, no cell phone or wifi service. Be interesting to see how people react when they actually have to talk to others. TV and phone withdrawal will be fun to watch. If true CU next week.

looking forward to your report .... unless we had to be in that area and there imply wasn't any other option, doubt we'd stay at that park

It was great meeting and talking to you Jim. We arrived at Twin Lakes RV Resort around 3 pm yesterday. Drove in a light drizzle, just enough to keep the wipers on and getting the coach dirty! This is an Encore park with lots of trees. In fact, no satellite service what so ever! No cable either! We do have 4 to 5 bars of Verizon, so good to go there. The Wally world is about 4.5 miles away, so much closer than Gloucester! lol Temps look to be in the mid 70's the rest of the week. Be safe out there and keep cooking!

some of the folks are starting to decorate their campers for Halloween .... beginning to think I may need to keep an eye on the lady in the two sites from ours
