its been a really good day .... first, 21 members of Maureen's family joined us for our annual Frogmore.... after eating some of us drove down to Brookings to fire several rounds of Trap .... must admit I thoroughly enjoyed both .... it appears the knee injury I experienced on July 3 is on the mend ... only a few days ago I wasn't anywhere near ready to fire 100 rounds ....

yep, it is designed to be setup on a frozen lake or in a campground .... for this part of the country, that really extends its periods of use

How do they get road clearance to tow it? or is it towable? Interesting

The video on this dealers site explains how they are raised and made road towable. I don't know where they would be used in Florida though?

We saw quite a few of those ice fishing units last year when we were in that area

other than being able to securely tie them down where wind can't get under them, I wouldn't think they would be much use at places that aren't cold enough for the lakes to form a thick coat of ice in the winter

                    • later today I hope to get down to Brookings to shoot Trap ..... Saturday we have a "Reveal" party for one of Maureen's nieces on Saturday followed by a family reunion on Sunday .... a steady of schedule of mostly family related events is most certainly fueling the afterburners of time helping to speed its passing

                      • today is forecasted to be another hot & dry day with a RealFeel of 100 .... I'll probably drive down to Brookings (20 some miles) and check on some shotgun cleaning supplies at Runnings in Brookings .... haven't been in there this trip and its my kind of store ....

                            • left one was replaced sometime back .... right one not in good shape .... twisted it July 3rd and have been limping along every since .... retwisted it to a lesser degree a couple of days ago .... I'm making every effort to hold off until we get home in about a month .... some days seem to make getting back a long time from now

                              • well, not exactly the morning we anticipated .... with recent days of highs in the 90's and overnight lows in the 70's our camper's AC's have been working .... this morning we awoke to water dripping from the front AC onto the foot of our bed .... after pulling the inside cover I found much more water than anticipated .... checked the 4 bolts that hold the AC in place .... two were snug, snugged up the other two .... after eliminating them as the problem, it pretty well has to be the drain holes in the drip tray under the coil have to be clogged .... with the predicted high today being 100, I'm highly motivated to get it taken care of ASAP .... got into a bit of trouble when I told Maureen that I needed to get on the roof to work on it .... lets just say, doing so was quickly and forcefully vetoed .... put in a call to Maureen's nephew and he'll be here as soon as he can get his daughters up and on the road .... hopefully we can get it taken care of before the heat really builds in
