for a variety of reasons our camping club has lost several members and we are looking for some good folks to join us .... we are a relaxed group that eats well .... as a general rule we camp March - December over the second weekend in each month .... for the most part we camp along I-95 in NC but do schedule some weekends at the NC State Fairgrounds and other locations .... our next outing will be November 7 - 9 at the State Fairgrounds .... December 12 - 14 we are booked into the RV Park at Carolina Crossroads .... we'd be very happy for folks in the area to join us as guest .... I'll be happy to provide any additional info

that would be great for us as well .... in the last year we have had one member to die (unexpectedly), on is on long term assignment in Iraq, one's camper had some major damage, two have health issues .... in addition there are several of us who travel .... to have a good weekend, we really need 4 - 5 new members

I think we are going to make the 7-9th at Fairgrounds. Is there something going on at the fair that weekend?

The flea market will reopen that weekend. We women plan to do some shopping on Saturday. We are rather flexible in our planning.

outstanding .... I know there is a model train show in the Expo building and there is more than likely other stuff going on as well .... they do not have a meeting place for campers so we do plan to go out to eat Saturday night

A few pictures from the weekend

Had a good time, met some new friends and almost got into the fishing hole but all the gates were locked.. long story but I was the only person with a fishing rod in a sea of people headed for the State Game or the Horse events.

Jim told me not to take the picture of him on the ladder but hey, I had to.

The stickhorse picture requires a story but I will have to tell it later.

Thanks, it really pulls great, even on the belt line where the construction project objectives are to create the worst road in America. And I think they have done it.
