$20/nite is a bit pricey for dry camping.

He sees well enough to cash a very nice paycheck.

Glacier Basin Campground is a primitive campground (no water or electric). I had a full hookup as a host. But you can stay ans never drive your car or rig by taking the shuttles around the Bear Lake area

                        so some pictures

D loop where many rvs stay looking at my trailer and the view

the view on a golden day

elk near the campground, no bears this year

So if you don't mind dry camping for $20 a night (it may go up next year btw)
Glacier Basin is a good spot. You get view or no view !

Glacier Basin Campground is well located on the east side of he park. With the shuttle system you do not need a car in the park. Lots of excellent trails can be accessed by shuttle bus.

                          parting shots

Do they also charge for the shuttle?

no, shuttles in the park are free.

From Glacier Basin Campground, we took one shuttle all the way into Estes Park, where they also have free shuttles around town

its not a good on line map but you can go al over !
