  • Volo Auto Museum

The Volo Auto Museum (Volo, IL) is just a few miles from us. They have a standard collection that is really amazing... that is stored throughout several buildings. If you are a car person... it is CERTAINLY worth the visit.

From time to time, they setup special exhibits that run for a few months at a time. This is the newest. We are going to head over this weekend.
    Really looking forward to it....

Visited the Volo Auto Museum over the holiday with my nephew and his family in town. Always a phenomenal place to go! The Duesenberg Room - with SEVEN fully restored Duesenbergs - is my personal favorite. But the highlight of this trip was the antique RV display that they have added. Pictures attached below.

Interesting item of note - one of these was parked in a barn in 1940 and is in original / un-restored condition.

            Continued...

This one was a VW "bus" style RV that pulled a camp trailer that had a removable boat on the top of it....
