Welcome to Oak Creek Campground !!

Looks like your kind of place. Less than 10 miles from Florence. I don't know, there may be no southern sky there.

I'd found that one and so far it is the only one out there that looks like it would work for us .... the biggest negative I've found was hidden in the info they give :

FREE ! ..... On site sewer pump outs .... 3 days per week, Mon-Wed-Fri

in short no sewer hookups at the sites

Jim, What route do you plan to take to get from "us" to Florence Ky? I do not like 64 in that area. We often travel to Maysville/ Dover area on 23 or the AA highway. Its more of a country setting and 2 lane but I prefer it to the interstate b/c in that area I think they drive too fast. We usually catch the Grayson ky exit to 23 and up to cincy. map it and see how much that would change your trip. Some people prefer the fastest way there, Some people want to sight see, others want to take it easy.

I can't give you any help into campgrounds in that area, we always dry camp when we go to Maysville/dover.
