    Falls Campground Home Page

We had herd lots of fun stories about Fallsburg from several of our camping friends for the last few years. It had always been hard for us to come across holiday spots. But this past year friends of ours stopped camping due to divorce. Well anyways, they had standing reservations. And had offered them to us. We took them up on the deal.
The camp ground is located on a great set of small waterfalls in the bend of a creek. It's owned by a couple that spend most of the winter months in Fl and the summer back in ky. I would venture to say half the sites are pull thru type sites but if you camp with a group like we did they allow for horseshoe type parking. Or even corral if you can fit them all in.
I do want to mention that this campground is prone to flooding when really bad storms roll in. If it hadn't been 1 am and thundering and lighthing to beat all I would of taken photos of the pool that appeared outside our camper. But by dawn was down to a small mud hole. The owners have done some grading and building up of several of the sites and the other campers did state it seamed to be better then the year before.
They don't have any full hook up sites but they do have 50 amp service at every box. But they do have a camp host that is able to pump out for a small fee. They only have one shower house for the entire campground and I did have a luke warm shower on sat. But the campground was entirely full for the holiday weekend. The bath house however was very clean and note that it was cleaned twice a day every day I was there.
It is a ways off the interstate and over a small winding hill. But it is quiet and my idea of typical camping. No cell phone service. Well at&t anyways.

We do plan on heading back for some holidays this season. I will try and get some photos on our next trip.
