The Wabasha Motel and RV Wabasha Motel & RV-Home has several nice sites and the staff is really helpful. The site we were in is long enough to put just about anything you are driving or tow in just a little hard to get started into because of the decorations (big rocks) close to the road.
Lots to do and see in the area. Red Wing boots and Red Wing pottery in Red Wing. The National Eagle Center in Wabasha is really cool.

nice looking CG, can see what you are saying about the rocks at the end of the site .... guess they don't want folks running over the grass .... we've been through that area but always when traveling and have never stopped

The birds are very much alive and you are within feet of them. They have five of them tethered in the viewing room. They are all there due to injuries and cannot be released back in the wild. When they see another eagle out the window they put on quite a show to tell them to stay away from their space. They feed them at different times during the day and if you get in the room and on the front row your close enough to smell their dinner.

That's neat. We went to a bird show a few years ago in Cape May, NJ where they let lose 3 or 4 different falcons at different times and they put on quite a display of their flying. We stayed for a long time and they also had a section showing off injured Eagles. They tend to fly into wires and also get hit by autos while they are trying to feed. Neat, neat birds and I could of stayed all day.
