You have several choices About 25 miles west of Meridian is Newton north of there out side of Decatur is Turkey Creek water park Nice relaxing park stock up before you go check it out on the Pat Harrison Water district. The next one is in Morton Roosevelt State Park. Great park reservations can be made Through Reserve America. The two west ends are the better sites, and easier to get to.
Than as everyone say Timberlake in Brandon. This also has full hook ups store all around it. Three blocks from the House All of these have great rate. Over eats of Meridian there is a KOA that people talk about, have not been there. Do Not stay at Bontia Springs in Meridian This has turn into a a long term park for lots of construction workers. Over in Edwards there is Askew Landing this is a Good Sams Park

Benchmark RV Park east of Merdian MS

Great for one or two night stop over.
Passport America 50% discount every night of stay.
Sites level and utilities work fine.
Internet was weak to not at all - if you close to the office you got a signal but not strong.

A lot of long term workers living their working on a power plant project down the road. They were friendly and keep their site neat and clean.

We will stop there again if in the area.
