Hamilton, MO is just about an hour east of St. Joseph, 30 minutes from Jamesport, and 20 minutes +/- from Chilicothe, and 1/2 mile from Missouri Star Quilt shopping in town!

The Country Charm RV park is fairly new, a little over a year old. The bath house isn't finished yet, but he was working on the insides when we were there, making good progress. The sites are gravel (w the big chunks), and he has a variety of lengths, but only a few pull-through's. Some sites vary in level. Ours was only about 1 degree off, and we left our boards at the previous campsite.
FHU available, but we opted for 30-amp because he wanted $9/day more for 50-amp. That's just way out of the ballpark, and I told him so.
We stayed for a week, so we paid for 6 nights & got the 7th free, and it worked out to be $30/night.
CASH only, or he'll charge you a 3% fee for using plastic. This is not the first campground we've been to this year that does that, and we encountered one last year. It seems it might be becoming a trend.
It's just a small campground. The man who owns it is really nice, but he's very finicky about driving over his grass, and he's a little too involved in your parking. We thought it was just us, but I noticed that he did it with everyone who came in while we were there.
While we were there, we did drive over to St. Jo to visit their historical hotel/museum, well worth the visit. There's lots to look at there. You can also walk through the Jesse James house next door.
This is perfect for those who want to shop at MSQ, or attend one of the events there.
