  • 7th Ranch RV Park next to Little Big Horn Battlefield

We are staying a few days here at 7th Ranch. It is a very nice place with sites on a hillside. All are long and quite level. It is adjacent to the Little Bighorn national historic site. This park is quite new with very nice facilities. Interestingly it is also a working ranch. The only complaint I had is that even though it is quite remote here, with the windows open at night there is a BNSF mainline track about a half mile away and they have a crossing that they have to blow the whistle for. Those trains are noisy. It didn't really bother us with windows closed but if you are a light sleeper be aware. A huge ranch, we could see the owner on his horse way off in the distance checking some of his herd early this morning!
