  • Cooperstown KOA -- Richfield Springs, NY

This is called the Cooperstown KOA even though it is about 12 miles away in Richfield Springs. We had an easy drive of 230 miles from Niagara Falls to here today. Cold and raining when we pulled out. We outran the rain by noon. Now, it is glorious. The fall colors are in full bloom in this area.

This campground is only open for two more weeks, closing Oct. 18th. We almost have it to ourselves as it is. We are the only rig in our row and there is one rig in the next row.

There are only 2 50 amp pull through sites here, and we got one of them. The rest are 30 amp and tent sites. The folks in the office are extremely nice and helpful. I think we are going to really enjoy our stay here too.

Resting up the rest of the day and then hitting the Baseball Hall of Fame as the main thing to do tomorrow.
