when it comes to burgers and hotdogs, Grill '57 is hard to beat .... located on the south side of Raleigh it is a throwback restaurant that plays music from the '50's & '60's .... its all beef, foot long hotdog is the standard against which I judge all other hotdogs .... so far, in all of our travels, I've never found one as good, much less any better .... if/when you are in the area and enjoy an atmosphere that will take you back to much simpler times, give it a try

I guess this is the place your are referring to .... from their site it appears they offer bunches of different things to put on their hotdogs .... don't know that we will get down that far but will most certainly keep it in mindJim

in looking at their impressive menu .... in that they offer so many options, Good Dog impresses me as being the Starbucks of hotdogs .... I drink black coffee and I only want yellow mustard, mayo, slaw and onions on my hotdogJim

thankfully not .... one of the things we enjoy is the regional differences we find in food while traveling .... McDonald's type chain operations have contributed greatly to the fact that those differences aren't as pronounced as they used to be .... while pepperoni is universal, we've noticed that, along with hotdogs, pizza toppings and crust thicknesses can vary widely ....
