  • Portland, OR RV Parks

We are looking at options for camping in/near Portland, OR. So far, I'm not overly impressed. Does anyone have suggestions for a nice place to stay for a couple of weeks?
    Thanks,

Try http://www.pheasantridge.com/ we stayed there several times when we lived in Medford. It is across I5 from Camping World in Wilsonville on Southern side of Portland.

We have stayed at Columbia River RV numerous times as we have a son in Portland. It is a nice park, convenient to I5. Spaces are close together but concrete and nicely laid out. The sewer is located at the rear of the site and you need a long sewer hose, over 20 ft. We like it, but make sure you have a reservation.

Thanks. I'll take other suggestions, too. I've got to make a decision by the end of the week, though.

This one wasn't available for our dates, but looks like it might have been a good choice.

They told us our rig was too old (2005). It would have been nice to be so close to town.

We will be a Pheasant Ridge this Sunday for 5 days...last year stayed at Woodburn-Portland CG in Woodburn--little too far out, so trying PR this time. Yep, pricey. Last stop on visiting kids/gkids/ggkids, then head for solar checkup at AMSolar and then Crater Lake. Fuel a little pricey out here over TX...

Z--next time just say its an '09--they'll never know the difference. Surely they don't check titles....

We've ended up with reservations at the campground just south of Portland.

What are your travel plans for going to Crater Lake?

We have no serious plans for Oregon yet, except to see friends while we're in Portland. I try not to plan activities too far in advance - not for my benefit, but for the spouse who doesn't want a scheduled trip. I'm more middle of the road - I like some planned, with room for flexibility for surprises.
