too bad, you were my best hope of having some knowledge of this park .... we normally overnight at the Heritage RV Park in Augusta, GA .... this year our date coincides with that of the Masters Golf Tournament .... during two weeks they will only book 3 day ($400) or 4 day ($500) packages .... with us only planning to come in during an afternoon and pulling out early the next morning, its best for us to find somewhere else

Yep, you don't don't want to be anywhere that Heritage Park unless you are at the Masters.

on March 31, 2010 we arrived at Aiken RV Park in the late afternoon for a scheduled overnight stay .... this is our first stay here .... 50 amp, full hookup for $30 .... the park has a large area of long term leased sites .... the area designated for short stays is completely separate .... a major plus is the sites are pull-throughs that feature an easy in and out of the park .... its clear that they have a large number of sites with campers who have long leases .... in my mind that speaks well for the what the park must be run .... the only negative I've seen is considerable road noise from traffic on two sides of the park .... our first impression is we would stay here again

just remembered one other point .... they offer free WIFI .... in fact, they offer 3 separate WIFI signals, all of which have the same password .... only one issue found, none of the 3 would connected to the internet .... oh well, for its price and its location we wouldn't hesitate to overnight there again
