  • Fueling Recommendations

The purpose of this thread is to provide folks with information on good places to buy fuel when traveling through areas we aren’t familiar with. If you know of any good or bad locations please post your comments. The types of info that might be helpful is exact location, big rig friendly ? , pumps available on both sides of vehicle ? , high speed pumps ? , open 24 hours ? , other services available ?

    I 95

folks traveling north on I-95 in SC would be well advised to fill up prior to crossing into NC which has the second highest fuel tax in the country .... there are several places you can stop but the one we like best is the Latta Flying J which is located at Exit 181A .... like most Flying J's it is RV friendly with special dedicated pumps .... propane tanks can be filled at a much better price than most CG's ... they offer free black/gray tank dumping
