    Did your trailer fit through that hole?
    Were you towing it when you took that photo?
    They have a spot like that on the Pacific Coast Hwy. near Big Sur.
    But I don't think thats it.
    I can't see the ocean there.

          I'm sure I've driven through that tunnel (not with the RV), but I just can't place it yet.

                    ED J is right. It's called Needles Highway, not very far from Mt. Rushmore. There are warnings posted all over the place that this road is forbidden to trucks and RVs. It was a tight squeeze even for my pickup.

                    Here is a view of another tunnel on the same road and it gives an even better perspective on the size of these tunnels.
