  • Shady Acres RV Park, Green River, UT

If you are ever heading out I-70 and going thru Green River, UT--in the middle of nowhere there is a pretty nice RV park called Shady Acres--and it does have sufficient shade. Well over a 100 sites with cabins/tent sites available. All hookups + cable TV at most sites. $35.00/night and honors Good Sam, AAA and a lot of others. We are here for 3 nights to recover from some drycamping in CO before drycamping again in Dixie NF--not too busy, but lots of overnighters. I noted a sign at west edge of Green River that said next services west were 106 miles, and about 100 miles east to Grand Junction, CO. We left our Suites here in late Dec '09 for a week while we went to SLC--did not want to tow in the snow.
Campground is clean and well-maintained, water pressure and electricity work well.
