We did a day trip from Seattle to check out 2 state parks this was one of them. a link to a few pictures. We did not camp.

Saltwater State Park is a compact 87.4 acre plot of second-growth timber on Puget Sound in the City of Des Moines, Washington, United States halfway between Seattle and Tacoma. The main attraction is 1,445 feet of saltwater beachfront, including an excellent sandy swimming beach in the southwest corner, and rocky tide flats along the west with a submerged artificial reef that is popular with scuba divers. A forty-person group camp looks down on the beach from a high bluff. (From the web page)

The park has 50 sites, no water or electric sites, some pull throughs and it was 55 and cool ! Lots of green and lots of trees, grass was very dry considering how green it was, enjoy,

I grew up near there, back then there was no camping. I remember tide pools with star-fish clinging to the rocks and the great smell of the Pacific (probably the kelp).

    Thanks for posting the pics.
