It depends. If there are a lot of them and happened overnite, wild hogs. If only a few an armadillo looking for roots.

On our last trip to Florida the wild hogs would root around every night. When they finished, it looked like a plowed field.

They are night critters and like to get out on the highways to become "possum on the half shell" They are rooting for grubs...and other exotic TX groundlife.

I have been battling a war with several rats under my house and deck. So far poison has not worked but on the the 3 traps , one worked yesterday. This morning I plan to check them again. Our dogs go crazy from smelling them. I have to be very careful where the poison is left.

So far they are no where near the camper.

Several years ago I had a rat in my garage. I found out when he/she chewed a gold ball sized hole in the seat of my new Jeep. I stopped at the farm supply and picked up several of the small bags of poison. I put one out and the next morning it was all gone. Put out another bag and next day it was gone. Put out a third and next day it was gone. I told myself I was going to put out the 4th and last bag but if it was gone I was going to give the garage to the rat. I put it out and it wasn't touched. Couldn't find dead rat nor smell it. When I moved a few years later I found in in the bottom part of the washing machine. Tough old rat, ate 3 bags of poison.

We used to have a mice/rat problem at hunting camp, after being closed up all summer, we went to the local farm store and bought a couple bags of the poison, just like you, 1st bag went fast, 2nd bag went a little slower, bought the 3rd bag and put it out, and almost none of it disappeared, good sign, when putting things away for the first week of season, found little piles of the poison everywhere, dresser drawers, cabinets, under mattresses, under the couch, everywhere, but no more mice.

We have armadillos on our land in AL. I'm not sure what they'll do when we start clearing out their hangout.

Probably absolutely nothing. You won't bother them. You'll know they are around when you find fist sized holes here and there.
