IMG_1292[1].jpg After towing trailers/fivers since 1979, and upsizing along the way, we sold the house 5/30 and moved into a new-to-us 2015 Mobile Suites 38RSSA. Then, after towing several 1000 miles with the old 2010 450, it was apparent the extra 3k lbs weight was going to do it in. So, had to find a new pony and came up with a 2017 F450 KR. Have about 6k miles of full-timing and 3500 on the truck.
Not going too bad so far.

I only can dream. DW wife has explained to me in no uncertain terms; We're not selling the house or going full time. End of discussion.

That's where we are also....for many years actually.

We are in our 'young 70's' so we will travel as long as we can but want our home in Reno waiting for us when we decide we cannot travel anymore.

That will be a very sad moment!!

Well, it does sorta depend on the definition of 'dream'--------took me several years to convince wife to move out of Metroplex into rural area, then the inevitable buildup around us. Several more years after retiring and some sorry neighbors and she was ready to try it. It is very different not having the S&B home but we are making it so far.

I can understand this. Julie and I have discussed this and we both feel it would be VERY difficult for us to "sell everything" and full time. However, we would like to do some extended travelling once we retire. Take trips that are 2-3 months in length. This seems to have the most appeal to us and offer the best of both worlds.

I'm sure downsizing the house would be part of the ultimate plan... but I understand the sentiment on committing 100% to full time.

I got that figured out. All of our junk goes into a 53' dry van that I pull and she pulls the RV.

Gotta give that some thought....maybe put her on the van, I like the KR too much to give it up.

We are right behind you. Will sell the stick and brick house very soon and become houseless with the 5th wheel.

We recently finished 100+ nights on the road.

We've been getting rid of the stuff.

We've been full time for 5 and a half years. It's very liberating getting rid of the stuff.
