I didn't get around to posting pictures of our Henry Color Case Hardened 45-70 .... the target was fired at 75 yards from a sandbag rest while seated at a bench in an indoor range (no wind) ....

have you had a chance to fire your AR-7 ? .... I've been looking at some YouTube videos and admit to being very tempted to order one

Hate to admit, I have not. May have a chance while we are out for a month.

as a side note, for anyone who may question use of a 22LR AR-7 as a survival rifle, if you haven't done so already, take a look at the How far will a .22LR kill ? thread at this link : https://www.myrvtalk.com/forum/rv-li...ll-a-22lr-kill

well, I'm happy to say that earlier today I had a good opportunity to spend some time with AR-7 .... we were on a 25 yard range, setup for 22LR .... a few observations : it seems much heavier disassembled with everything in the stock than it does fully assembled, my guess is that its a matter of balance .... the opening in the rear peep sight is tiny .... the size of the front sight is pretty wide .... she functioned well .... all in all, I was impressed

after 20 months, Henry 44 Mag revisited .... our 44 Mag has proven to be one of our favorite rifles .... the bottom line is, it is fun to shoot .... it is accurate at the ranges we fire .... even when firing its most powerful hunting ammo, its recoil is very mild .... firing lower powered range ammo, its felt recoil is extremely light .... reloading components are readily available and can be purchased for moderate prices .... I find that I'm spending more and more time firing it while at a range

over the last few years I've become more and more impressed with Henry Repeating Arms .... impressed with the company, their products and its owner Anthony Imperato .... the link below is but one example of why I have come to respect him so highly
