  • Ruger® 10/22 BX-Trigger

    to say that Ruger's 10/22 has been a popular line of rimfire rifles would be a major understatement .... until a few days ago I didn't know that Ruger offers an easy to install replacement trigger .... replacing Ruger OEM trigger with one of their BX-Triggers yields a major improvement .... for anyone who shoots their 10/22 very much, I believe it is well worth the money .... per its literature :

    "Improve the trigger pull on your Ruger 10/22 or 22 Charger™ pistol with the BX-Trigger. Light, crisp Genuine Ruger Factory Accessory breaks between 2.5 and 3 lbs. (approximately half the force needed with the factory trigger) plus has minimal overtravel and a positive reset. Rugged design delivers reliable, safe operation that exceeds industry standard for drop testing. Self-contained module is easy to install."

    Brownells list them for $72 ===>

    Cabela's list them for $90 ===>

    My 10/22 is one of the original models with a metal trigger group. Being a machinist and gun enthusiast, I did a trigger job on it when it ws new and it still preforms quite well for my purposes. Apparently the trigger housing is plastic in later models along with a lot of other parts.The only plastic on my gun is the outer housing of the magazine. If you have an older model, be sure this plastic trigger group will fit your gun. You might want to check the serial number with Ruger before ordering.
